ISELDI
Luck can play a significant role in our lives. For me, it came in the form of an unexpected adventure, as I set out on my long-awaited journey to Iceland. I had been yearning to explore this beautiful country for years, and finally, the opportunity presented itself. However, fate had other plans for me. Just a week before my arrival, a volcano in Meradalir erupted, sending shockwaves throughout the country. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness this incredible spectacle up close. I traveled to Meradalir, and what I saw there left me awestruck. Lava was spewing out of the volcano, making for a sight both beautiful and intimidating. Despite the freezing temperatures and earthquakes, I stood there for eight hours, completely mesmerized by the raw power of nature. That experience set the tone for the rest of my journey. I traveled to the most remote parts of Iceland, up to the Hornstrandir Reserve near the Arctic Circle. Camera: Nikon D3500 Lens: AF-P DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR II Editing: Adobe Lightroom
