I am drawn to moments that resist immediacy: gestures held slightly longer than expected, places shaped by time rather than events, and traditions that persist through repetition rather than spectacle.
Photography, for me, is an act of patience. I am less interested in the decisive moment than in what surrounds it, the before and after, the traces left behind, the silences that reveal meaning. I work with natural light and restrained composition, allowing space and absence to carry as much weight as presence.

People in my photographs are never extracted from their environment. Faces may recede in favor of hands, posture, or movement; landscapes often dominate the frame, emphasizing the fragility and humility of human existence within a larger world. I aim to photograph with respect, maintaining a necessary distance that preserves dignity while inviting empathy.
Ultimately, my photography is an invitation to slow down. To look without urgency. To consider the world not as something to be captured, but as something to be quietly encountered.
